VMSS BUYING GUIDE
The F22 and F23 2 Series and the F87 M2 share one headlight shape, so every IKON set in this guide fits all three. Pick the version that matches the headlights your car came with, choose your DRL colours, and you're done.
Check whether your car has halogen, xenon or LED headlights, then choose that version at checkout. IKON V2 with white and yellow DRLs starts at £580.
Step 1: Halogen, xenon or LED?

Step 2: Choose your IKON

What changed between versions
- V2: 1:1 OEM design, DRL memory, an upgraded heatsink and a start-up animation.
- V3: everything in V2, plus brighter DRLs, a custom blacked-out housing and a fix for DRLs falling out of sync.
- RGB: everything in V3, plus app control, fixed light leakage and fixed battery drain. Colour is set from the app, and there's no start-up animation.
Fitting
Allow around two hours with the front bumper off. Plug the new headlights into your factory connector, test every function before refitting the bumper, then aim the beams. No coding is needed for the main lighting functions, and if your car ever needs any to make them work, it's free. If a dashboard warning appears and you'd like it removed, we do it remotely for £30. Does it fit the F87 M2 and M2 Competition?
The F22, F23 and F87 share the same headlight fitment. Choose the version that matches your original headlights, and message us with your reg if you'd like us to confirm.
Does it fit the convertible?
Yes, the F23 convertible uses the same headlights as the F22 coupe.
How do I switch DRL colour?
On V2 and V3, flash your high beam from the driver's seat. The flash counts for each set are in its product description. On RGB, you choose the colour in the app.
Are coloured DRLs road legal?
Run white DRLs on the road and keep the other colours for shows. Our yellow DRL guide explains why.
